My 19 month old got this for Christmas when she was about 13 months. She was too young for it then. Now, she does play with it, but mostly just changing the on/off switch to the different modalities. I find the toy a bit annoying. The other thing I don't like is that the different shapes a very difficult to get to stay put where they belong and we constantly get the "whoops" even when I put them in place. The cutest feature of it is when you push the top button and make the shapes "pop" out, that is once you get them in in the first place.

It's a gret toy all kids wil enjoy
