I really like the penguin, my daughter is 4 months now and has had it for a month. She has pushed him on the floor off of her walker trey. She has chewed and drooled all over him. And through all of this she still works, and I haven't had to change the batteries yet. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't stay on very long for her, and in order for her to turn it back on she has to push one certain button. But she loves to just push it around on chew on its little flappers.

The reviews were really good for this toy, I found it a bit disappointing tho. The batteries only lasted a few hours. I thought that it would also right itself when pushed but it falls over and doesn't bounce back up....it lays there until I put it back upright. My grandaughter wasn't very interested in this toy at all.......she's 9 months.It was cheap enough but if I had bought it at a store I could drive to I would return it....[...]

This toy might be better when my baby can sit on his own. Right now he has a hard time playing with it on his belly since the penguin doesn't lay down flat. He has the most fun with the crinkly wings. Also, I'm not sure if mine arrived with low batteries or what, but the sounds the penguin makes are very strange. Kind of gargled sounding. But, it was a great price!
