My two and a half year old LOVES this product, and I readily admit that I love it as well. He can dance to it everyday and never gets tired of it. However, I am not pleased with the microphone. From day one, it would fall over, and there is no way to tighten the screws. Additionally, my friend also bought this for her 2 year old son and his microphone broke (no longer worked) on the first day. For whatever reason, there appear to be issues with the microphone. But otherwise, it seems great!

My 3 1/2 year grandson loved this product but unfortunately the microphone only worked for about 30 minutes. Now it emits a loud hissing sound that interferes with the use of the other features of the toy. It must be a popular toy because no stores have another one in stock for exchange. He liked it so much that I did not get a refund - instead we will disconnect the microphone so that he can play with the other features. I would recommend the product if it were more durable.

I HAVE A FOUR YEAR OLD BOY, A 15 YEAR OLD STEP SON AND A HUSBAND.. THEY ALL FIGHT OVER THIS, SADLY.. I GOT THIS FOR MY 4 YR OLD ON HIS 3RD CHRISTMAS AND HE WAS EXCITED TO SEE ANYTHING THAT MADE MUSIC, UNFORTUNATELY, SO WAS MY HUSBAND. I ordered this for my 4 year old son, and he LOVES it! Their is so many different ways to play with this! Different instruments, sounds, slow/speed up sound, even types of music such as rap and raggae! He doesn't even want to put this down! He even can put his music on the portable music player and listen to what he recorded! Highly recommend this toy, well worth the money, and he has never enjoyed a toy more than this one, and he has A LOT, so that says enough for me with this one! The funniest thing of all, is that my 11 year old can't keep his hands off it either! He will sneak this toy, until his brother notices it missing! Highly recommend this toy for anyone/any age!

My 3yr old saw this is the store and couldn't put it down. "santa" brought it for christmas (among a hundred other things) clearly his favorite. Dad and his brother love to play it too. While it does have volume control, I feel that the loudest setting (which seems to be the favorite) is just too loud and it worries me when he puts the headphones on if he has the volume up too high. Other than that, definitely a great toy. It does everything it says it does.

This is absolutely a wonderful product. My daughter (age 5) LOVES it! She sings and makes up her own little songs and loves all the buttons. The light up keys are a fabulous plus and when she gets a little older, she'll understand how to follow the lights to learn to play the tunes. My infant (7 months) loves to watch and listen as big sister entertains. She carries the keyboard all around the house, and it is small enough to take along to Grandparents' houses.

We brought this item for our 3-year old, and have not been disappointed. There are so many great knobs and buttons to keep his little fingers busy--not to mention the amazing beats, chord possibilities (just like a "real" piano makes chords) and ways to vary the numerous songs. My child is especially fascinated with the recorder apparatus that lets you record your voice and music with the included microphone and then play it back.
This is a durable, quality product that is holding up even when our 5-year old got into a tug-of-war with the 3-year old because they both wanted to use it. It's one of the best toy purchases that we have ever made. (It's a fun item for older kids and moms and dads, too.)
The only suggestion for improving the product (and this is very picky) is that it would be great for the voice and spoken instructions to be available in Spanish. VTech makes other items with a Spanish-speaking component, that it would be the icing on the cake to have the keyboard with a Spanish option as well for bilingual families like mine.

The most memorable moment was when my son eyes lit up!!! I admit me and my husband play with it..it's colorful and has so many options to choose, ex reggae, jazz, rock. love it, love it love it!!!

I got this toy for my 7 year old son who has some developmental delays and is a little immature for his age. HE LOVES THIS! It has so many buttons for different sounds and songs and rhythms. The microphone is great to sing along to a song or make up your own, and the MP3 like device allows him to record his music and voice. He loves listening to his creations and playing them for me! I highly recommend this toy for anyone with a child who loves music and being creative!

I purchased this early as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The day it arrived, I pulled it out of the box and she practically attacked it! She LOVED pushing all the buttons and making music. It has since been put into hiding until Christmas, but I know it will be something she'll play with alot. Time to pass on her musical table to her little cousin!

To counter battery consumption that is why I would recommend the purchase of the adapter. Or it should be provide with KidiJamz Studio instead of as a separate item to purchase. Otherwise this is really a great and fun educational interactive toy for kids of any age even the kid in adults.

This is one of those toys that is completely worth the money. There are so many features that I'm sure we still haven't discovered them all. My girls (4/12 and 3) love playing with this toy. I'll admit that even I love playing with it. We love hearing the different versions of classic songs. I would definitely recommend it!

only problem weve had is my daughter and her friend got the headphone jammed into the headphone port, we got it out but the head phones wont work with it anymore, as the piece is still stuck inside

The kids love this piano! The detachable recorder is the favorite right now, but watching the little one grove to techno is pretty awesome too. I hope the keyboard can keep up with the abuse, it seems a little flimsy for busier kids. Very fun toy!

this was a big hit on Christmas morning. One of the keys finally broke a few months later, after a lot of use. My husband tried everything to fix it, but couldn't. The good news is the key still plays the note.

I bought this for my son´s second birthday. He loves it! It is a favorite of his as well as the almost 2 year old who I watch. When my 9 and 12 year old nephews come over this is the first thing they head for. And he loves that Daddy can record a message to him on the music player. While daddy is at work he carries the music player around listening to his voice over and over again. We have had this toy for almost 3 months now and have not had to replace the batteries once!

My children love this piano. They love that they can change their voices to sound like aliens. My 7 year old likes the fact that the piano teaches songs by lighting up buttons to follow. So far there are no cons about it. We love it and the kids have had many fun hours playing with it. My 3 year old likes that she can play and record it onto the little device. She carries it around and says that it is her ipod.

I am very impressed at how many features this product has. Great Price and engages all my kids. I bought it for my 2 year old, but my 10 & 11 year olds love it too. I love the volume control and head set features. I was concerned about having to replace batteries all the time, but it is very efficient on the battery use. I did purchase a 9 volt a/c adapter for $9.99 from vtech also which I was happy I had the option to do. I am very happy with this product!

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son and he loves it the only issue is that it goes through batteries so quick I think he played with it for an hour total and I had to replace the batteries.

This was a birthday present for a 4 year old boy. What I heard from his parents were, that he has not been interested in any toy ever since he opened this box and he has been at it for days...playing music, creating tunes, using the mike to sing, recording, acting as a dj...!! The nursery rhymes can actually be played differently ( a very neat feature)... it is so cool to hear twinkle twinkle rhyme with a hip hop beat. It is the toy that seems to have everything that a kid wants... music,mike, headphones and it encourages creativity for sure !! I highly recommend it !!

I gave my two y.o. grandson the KidiJamiz studio for his birthday. On the first day he fiddled around with the keys and the mic. I went to visit him today (3 days later)he was enjoying himself mixing and singing. I believe this is the best product on the market.

My 3 year old saw this in the store and played with it for 20 minutes. Its the first time I have ever seen him drawn to something that wasn't a truck. I got this on the vtech website for half the price that the store was asking. Haven't given it to him yet because it will be a gift in the near future but when I showed it to my 13 year old son he said he can't wait to play it with him.

I am a behavior consultant for special needs. I have a client who is legally blind, mentally retarded and autistic. This client is stimulated by touching and hearing. This item ROCKS!!!! However, it is not that durable. This is the second one in two weeks, which has gotten expensive. Please make more items like this, but more durable.

My son is musically inclined and the total opposite of my oldest child who is gifted in building. This was the perfect present at christmas for a budding musician! He will be 5 in a month and he got this and instantly became hooked! It plays music well, he absolutely loves having his own ipod and headphones, and he loves to record himself and treat mom and dad to his own music and voice that he made up!
So much fun for all of us! We even leave him songs and voices from us so he can have fun too!

My son is 3 1/2yrs old, he is autistic and visually impaired. He absolutely LOVES this keyboard - he will literally play with it for hours at a time! He has progressed from playing with the songs and sounds to just playing the keys and making his own music. He has learned so much with this keyboard - its awesome. This is our second one because the first one broke during our move - not sure what happened, but we knew we needed to get another one ASAP! We just love it!

I bought this after seeing it reviewed in a magazine and spotting it on sale. My children have had other keyboards that were all the same dumbed down versions of grown up keyboards. This is not like those keyboards. There are so many different options to encourage creativity and mix different sounds in different styles. Something about the intuitive layout encourages experimentation.

I would rate this as my children's favorite music toy.

This toy is perfect for my son. He loves anything to do with music and this toy has everything you can think of. It has different instruments. You can mix different beats to it and actually record your music. The piano keys light up to the prerecorded songs, and he follows along and actual tries to play the melodies. It also has an MP3 player to play your songs back. The price was worth it for a change!

I bought this for my 28-month-old daughter. She loves singing into the microphone and playing the keyboard. She totes the music player around, listening to herself sing. She has repeatedly run over to give her "piano" a hug she loves it so much. Because she is a bit young, we play together as a family. I will have to gift one to my 31-month-old niece over the next holiday.
