My son is 9 and has down syndrome. He uses and plays with this camera on a daily basis. He is VERY picture oriented and we use pictures a lot for communication. I also home school him and we use the video part of the camera to record books being read, letter sounds etc.. This camera has been VERY durable for us. It's been chucked across grocery stores and into car windows, dropped down the stairs, and amazingly still works. It does eat up batteries but we just use rechargeables and I figure it's a toy and he uses it daily. To me it's worth every penny!! I would highly recommend this product for the reasons listed above.
I also agree with the other comments.......games are not important with a camera. My son does NOT use any of these features. It would be a plus if it were water proof but we'll still keep it!!

Gave one to my grandson on his 5th birthday after observing his slightly younger cousin with one. After half a day he was excitedly making movies and still shots which we all watched on the TV. He has a lot to learn about composition, but he's having a ball learning.

My sons loves it!

It is so easy to use. same features as a real camera. My son loves the video best. He can record videos as long as he wants and the sound is very good.

Got this item for my daughter. It has supplied hours of fun and enjoyment for the entire family. It is very easy to use and has many options built into the camera for her to experiment with. Excellent camera and an excellent price.
