My 3 year old and 4 1/2 year old use all the time at home and on the go, great for waiting at doctor appointments! They have learned alot from it already and love it! Only thing I wish it had was rechargeable batteries built that charged with the USB cable. I bought rechargeable batteries to use in it and recharge at night when there not playing with them!!

Originally, this purchase looked like a great idea, but it really lacks versatility. I also dislike that most of the games feature expensive liscensed characters.

Only four games are included on the device, and storage will only allow two more of the free games to be loaded. So, you can fit six games total without buying a $15 storage card that will likely become lost or damaged by the average preschooler.

I feel the apps and games we have downloaded for our personal devices are much better designed and I would rather have invested in one for the kids instead of wasting money on this device, which only plays games from a limited and specialized list.

A big improvement would be software including read-aloud picture books and foreign language tutorials without expensive brand-liscened characters.

I bought this product over a year ago for my son's 4th birthday. He loves it, as do I! I love that I can track his progress by plugging it into the computer; he loves that he's playing on his own big cell phone. It's very durable, but we bought the case for his 5th birthday just to give it a little extra safety. We have had problems with one game not always registering that it's loaded, but I take it out, blow carefully (like we had to "back in the days" on our gaming systems) and it works fine. He knows that's a "Mom job" and not something he should do :) I hope more older-oriented games will come out, as we have the 5-7/8 games now and he will be looking for new ones for his 6th birthday I'm sure! I have recommended to quite a few people already, it's an affordable buy that makes a teacher mom happy to let him play video games :)

i bought my son (age5) a mobigo touch learning console at christmas time, did not work. sent it to vtech and they sent me a new 2011 version and this one does not work!!! vtech telling me to send it back and they will cover shipping cost! no very unhappy! will not ever buy another vtech ANYTHING!

My 4yr old got this from Santa and absolutely loves it. I like the fact that is educational and he is learning so much!! Santa brought the adaptor too so we don't have to worry about batteries unless we are on the go. Wonderful product.

I have spent all day logging try to register my product so I can access the free software and purchase other games. I am not computer naïve and have been unable to get any support whatsoever from the vtec team.
I am sure this is an excellent product but clearly there are serious teething problems given the difficulties in accessing. technical support services.

My son loves his Mobigo very much. We think it's great also but we see a lack of games for it, at least at the higher age end. Though our son is only 4 he actually reads at a 3rd grade level (not bragging just saying), so some of the games in his age range are a little simple for him. If the system is suppossed to entertain kids up to age 8 I think there should be more of a selection in that age range, as it is currently I don't see any 8 year old I know being very into this game system. We did just get the storage cartitdge and will be looking into your download games maybe there is more variety there for the older kids.

Overall a good sturdy system for the younger kids with entertaining and educational games.

The product appears to be very educational if it would work. I purchased the mobigo for my 3 year old daughter. She loves it but the system will not respond to the cartridge at all. Imagine a kid on Christmas morning with a broken toy. This is exactly what happen to my daughter.

I let my two year old play when we're in the car for long trips or waiting (resturants or offices) and I want her to be quiet. She loves it and learns how to play the games very quickly.

I love it because they're educational and I can see her progress. In some categories she's at the Grade 2 and above level!!!! AT 2 YEARS OLD!!!!! It keeps her quiet and happy when most kids are screaming and running around out of boredom and too much energy.

This product was fantastic for about 8 months. Then the screen stopped working and I had to send it back. Now 4 months later, the speakers went out. Back to VTech it goes. Hopefully I can still get another warranty replacement. Or my money back. There is definitely a lack of available games compared to Leapster, but i like the flip down keyboard.

The unit works great, my son loves it but I can't get the learning lodge to work and every time I call customer service they are confused as to what to do plus the communication itself is rather difficult and I end up hanging up. Have tried to send to recycle bin but the program denies me that right as well as the uninstall program missing many dll files that I downloaded but it still is faulty....... I would like to get the downloads that come as part of the package as well as track his progress :/

I have been extremely satisfies with this product. I have had one MobiGo for over a year now and it is still working great even after being thrown down about six stairs onto a tile floor. Yes, that was just luck that it didn't break, but it goes to show my confidence in it's durability. It consumes batteries, but if you have chargeable batteries then it's not a problem. I plan on purchasing another one for my other son because currently they fight over the one we have.

I purchased this for my son for Christmas in 2010. He loved it in the beginning when it was working. Since, I have had to have the Game Storage cartridge replaced and am now in the process of getting the unit replaced all before owning the device for a full year. The console stopped recognizing when cartridges where inserted. I think VTech should redo the Learning Lodge program because it is super slow on my fast PC. If I had the option, I would get my money back and purchase something else or similar. They had the right idea but it didn't come out too strong.

I got the MobiGo for my 3 year old son who has special needs for his birthday and he just loves it. It does have a short battery life, but we also purchased the wall adapter and the car adapter so we hardly ever use the batteries. His success with this has been so great we are getting his older sister (who also loves his MobiGo) an InnoTab for her birthday. Very pleased with our VTech products!!!

My son loves his MobiGo! He got it for Christmas in 2010 along with the Toy Story 3 game, and he has learned shapes, matching, counting, and letters! He has dropped it quite a bit, but it works like a charm still, and I hope that it will last long enough for me to pass it onto my daughter (which is only 8 m/o)! We don't really use the batteries unless we travel; we purchased the wall plug-in for the MobiGo. I have nothing bad to say about it!

Love this system. My then 3 year old got it for Christmas last year and now my 21 month old loves hers so much, that's I'm going to buy him 1 of his own. Really, 21 months and he can figure the younger games out, yet at the same time my now 4 year old isn't bored with those same games. Very sturdy. In fact I've caught my son throwing the mobiGo across the room on more than 1 occasion and yet it still works perfectly. Love it!

great product!!! i have a 3 year old girl who just loves the mobigo system! its so easy for her to use because of the touch screen technology she just touches what she wants to do! she has allready learned to recognize her name spelled out and her shape recognition has grown a lot too!!! the only thing i would love to see more of is more games available to buy, especially in her age range! she loves scooby doo but that game is in the higher age range.

My son got this for Christmas before he turned 3 and ever since he opened it up he has loved it the starter game was a great way to lead into the games that you have to buy....he takes it everywhere with him and if he doesn't have it I do because I know he will get bored and want something to do the only downfall to the system is that its heavy but when it takes a fall it doesn't seem to hurt it at all so its definitely very durable....in this day and age i feel like if your not teaching your child how to use electronics then your hurting them and this is the perfect kid friendly learning video games I want him to play because not only is he learning new things but its keeping him moving with the times as well.

"Santa" brought this for my 3 yr old for Christmas. He was ecstatic about getting it after playing with it in the stores for months. Reading the reviews right after it hit the market showed much promise since it was replacing the original LeapFrog and the LeapFrog II...Well here we are 6 months later and have the same problem a lot of perants have had with theirs...a BROKEN SCREEN!!! He has played with it mainly in car to pass time but occasionally it got played with at home while his other brothers played their game systems. The games are based more for children already in pre-k or kindergarten and above. No real games or learning programs for little ones to get a head start.

Now, i'm not bashing the MobiGo completely. It is a nice system as long as you dont plan on using it for an early learning device. It's more a helper than a guide. The games are boring for educational purposes but ok for kids to just play and have fun.

Would i recommend this as a tool or choice over other more well-known and supported devices? NO...It was a choice based on my son's attraction to it and the need for new and hopefully better learning for him. Well, that didnt happen...Take it for what it's worth but the reviews speak for themselves...

This Mobigo was a gift to my son at Christmas. It only lasted 5 months before the cartidge insertion slot lost a very small metal connector. It appears the poor design of this receiver slot has now left us with a [$] piece of plastic. It will no longer read any of the accumulated games. Searching for a solution, but nothing yet.

I got this system for my 3 year old that generally doesn't stay very engaged with games or other learning systems meant for his age level. But with the Mobigo, I've hardly been able to get it away from him for meal and bedtimes!! As soon as his eyes open in the morning, he wants "his game"! When I bought it, I didn't realize that you could also get a memory cartridge and download tons of free games from the VTech website. This really got some squeals of delight out my little one! More games! I can't rave enough about the how great the touch-screen is for him because he would often get frustrated and tire very quickly with "game controls". The game prices are very reasonable and the free downloadable games are very diverse. They're not just the usual Numbers, Letters, Shapes and Colors, but also teach things like food groups, emotions, problem-solving puzzles, music, etc. Now, it looks like I need to buy another system though because my 5 year old is begging for one of his own as well. Good thing his birthday is coming up in 2 weeks!

got the mobigo for an xmas present from my parents. my son has autism and it helps with keeping up his numbers, words, ect. it has been dropped on a variety of hard floors... very very durable! he has accidentally made it a submarine once and i was devastated. I bought this after comparing it to the VReader and since I could only afford to purchase one, I decided on the MobiGo. It seemed to have a lot more things for kids to do and none of my little are ready to start learning to read yet.My 5yr old and 3yr old LOVE their MobiGo. They share it and will sometimes fight over it, they love it that much.I would highly recommend. My only complaint is that the games are a little pricey at $20/ea.

We bought this as a gift for my little boys 4th birthday, and we are glad we did. His older sister got a Nintendo DS for Christmas and he loves to watch her play it, but was sad he could never play with it. He has a Leap Frog Scribble and Write and he called it his DS but we wanted something more interactive, so we decided to purchase the MobiGo and he loves it and the bonus is that he can play his "DS" just like his sister and we can be confident that he is learning and not just playing a videogame with a pointless purpose. The ONLY improvement we think could make it a better learning experience is to have have number keys, and not small numbers at the top to use in place of letters when the game calls for it. I think it can be confusing for a child who is learning letters AND numbers. But other than that and overall, I give the MobiGo an A+

My boyfriend works a great deal and couldn't be too involved with the shopping for our 3 year old's birthday presents. I described the Mobigo to him after seeing her playing with it in the store. We decided to spring for the [$] (it was on sale at [...]!) and get it for her birthday. Boy am I glad we did! It's been a week since her b-day and our daughter has not put the Mobigo down. My 3 and 5 year olds got Mobigos for Christmas and although I think they were fairly educational and entertaining, both of them have broken the touch screens already and now the systems are completely unusable. My son dropped his and cracked the screen and then he stepped on his sisters a week later, which cracked her screen as well. I contacted VTech to see if they can be repaired somehow, but they said no, so they're toast and I'm out over [$]. Just beware.

My three year old loves his mobigo! He's been asking for a NintendoDS (don't aske me where he got it from because I dont own any video games) or when we were out, standing in lines or shopping etc. he would ask to play with my phone (for the apps) so I decided that I should judt pony up and get him a video game and with this also having the learning capacity, it made my decision a lot easier.

I have to say that I was a little put off by the price but I was comparing it to the leapster2 and Explorer and decided to go with this one because of the touchscreen capability, furthermore the prices for the device and games are comparable.

I'm a single parent and going to school, so this little gem keeps him preoccupied long enough to get my homeowrk done! So glad I got this one, he abosolutley loves it!

This is the best learning game system ever! My son loves it! He played and played the game that came with the system until I was able to find another one that was appropriate for his age. He now wants to play it all the time, and always strives to learn more and try the more difficult levels. The only thing he has an issue with is opening it to get to the keyboard. This system is extremely durable. It's withstood lots of dropping, throwing (which most 2 year olds do), and even being thrown and submerged in water for a short amount of time. I was shocked that it still worked after the system and game was submerged in water, but all that needed to be done was to change the batteries, and dry it out as soon as possible. This was really worth the money, and a great investment. I cannot wait for more games to be released/made!

My son and I had to choose between this Mobi Go and the V Tech laptop he wanted. He choose the laptop but later received lots of gift cards for his birthday! Long story short I was a lil worried about him spending most of his cards on this toy and the games that are separate! Well I thank V Tech to adding in the free car charger because that wasn't how it was packaged at first. So all in all I am happy he choose to purchase this item. All 3 of my sons play with it. I have played with it and I absolutely LOVE how MANY games you can play on the Mobi Go (something I didn't know before buying it) so that was a pleasant surprise for us. The mobigo has to be the best thing I have ever bought my grandson! IT'S DURABLE (no mean feat in Jeff's 3 year old hands!, it's engaging, it it just the coolest learning system!. I ws skeptical when i first bought it, bit 20 minutes later, in Jefff's hand, i was to convinced it was a good thing by the way he was interacting with it, drawing shapes, shouting out the colors I went back and bought more game catridges!

We got this for my son who was about 19 months at the time. He adores it and loves it for car trips. He also is recognizing his colors and letters more, I do flash cards with him but when I have appointments its really nice and keeps him happy. Would recommend this for a year and a half to two. It takes them a week to learn all the game stuff but after that he is excelling. The volume doesn't get that loud and the games are reasonable and great if you find them on sale

our son was 1.5 when he got the mobigo for a present and is now 2.5 and still loves it. We try to keep our mobigo in the diaper bag so our son can play it when we go places like restaurants and such. but he pulls it out at home to play all the time. it says in the manual that rechargeable batteries are not recommended but we use them and they work great. we bought 2 sets so we can swap them out as needed. doing this saves tons of money. the storage device is great. my son loves the games that came on it and the ones we downloaded. we love that you get a whole year of free downloads, but they need to come out with some more downloadable games. they also need to come out with more game titles for the stores. how about wow wow wubbzy, bubble guppies, and special agent oso. those would be great and all are educational.

I purchased the Mobigo and V-reader as a Christmas presents (over a Wii) for my soon to be five y.o. son who'd previously owned a Leapster2. I liked the Mobigo design since the QWERTY keyboard was more portable than most kiddie laptops and the slide design resembled a kid version slider phone. I wasn't worried about durability since my child was familiar with touch devices. My concern was educational concepts available. I found the games engaging and a definite enhancement to his pre-k curriculum. He is able to operate the Mobigo easily and is learning letter key placement. I love that I am able to track his progress in the Learning Lodge. I then purchase games with skill activities that he needs to work on. He's playing and learning! Overall, a great buy for working moms.

This has got to be one of my best investments yet (aside from the VReader & Vmotion). my daughter loves this device and not only have i invested in entertainment for my daughter, it has also been a investment in her education. she is only 2 years old and has learned a ton from these games. her speach is so well and her annunciations are great. she knows her abc's and 123's. she even identifies animal and objects. sometimes i think maybe because im a first time dad i'm amazed of how quickly she is learning, but when your told constantely that she is very smart for her age. she can draw shapes and identify them. this is definitely worth my money. though it says 3 and up i definitely incourage parent to younger toddlers to invest in this. You will for sure reap the rewards.

This was definitely a decided educational and investment product prompted by use of the display at the local big chain toy store. She loved it, so I gave it to her for Christmas. The "games" are fun and I'm hoping VTech will release more. She has sadly become a bit bored with this much more quickly than I had hoped. She has 5 games in total and, while it can keep her occupied for long periods of time, she can also put it down for days at a time and not miss it. Must say it's great for keeping her occupied in waiting rooms or when I need to carry on a conversation with another adult. The graphics are pretty good although with the total amount of monies spent, am keeping my fingers crossed this won't be a regretful purchase. I'm a bit nervous about the durability of this product, but so far so good, although it's been dropped only on carpeted floors so it's been padded. To any thinking about buying this, I would highly recommend purchasing the carrying case and the extra cartridge to allow additional game downloads online...it has been the go to cartridge for my daughter more than any of the others she has. A fun and entertaining educational product for your learning arsenal.

My son is 3 and loves this, Buit is not durable. It droped 1/2 of a foot or less to the floor and the screen broke. I called VTech and the tldme do to it dropping it was not covered and they would not replace it. It is not even a month old. VTech need to make them more durable or replace them. Like i said My son love it anf has learned a lot on it, But if you get it make sure it dos not fall.

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our three year old son last year after he started trying to play games on our mobile phones. We wanted something educational, durable and with a touch screen - all of which this product is.

So far, the Mobigo has provided hours upon hours of fun for our son and we are very happy we made this investment.

I especially like the function that allows a progress chart to be kept of how he is doing with the tasks within the games.

All in all, the Mobigo is a wonderful product!

I love that my 3 yr. old has learned so much with the MobiGo. He amazes me with how much he knows about each game. He can change the catridges himself and can exit the games on his own. He also picks the "easy" level on his own. The only help he needs from us is sliding the touch screen up to reveal the QWERTY keyboard. We just bought the Superhero Squad and Toy Story, and we already owned Mr. Men/Little Miss. We also found it necessary to buy the game storage cartridge because he loves the games that we download also. I would recommend this to anyone who travels frequently because it keeps him entertained for hours in the car and I don't feel guilty because it is also educational.

MY 3 YEAR OLD GOT HIS FOR CHRSITMAS, UNFORTUNATLY IT WAS THE FIRST GIFT HE OPENED. HE HAD MY MOTHER IN LAW OPEN ALL HIS GIFTS WHILE HE PLAYED. My 3 year old son LOVES his Mobigo he feels like part of the techno gang as his older brother and sister have their own gaming/educational systems.

Product is very durable based on numerous drops by my son.

Games that have been released are excellent, educational and fun at the same time. Just make sure to use the suggested age range listed on the games and make your best judgement if they are ready for a level up. Would also like to see more games in the future.

My only disappointment is that there has yet to be any firmware updates which are important for any gaming/educational systems. Perhaps a future firmware update will allow you to save downloaded games without having to buy the Mobigo storage system? Wishful thinking perhaps but I am confident Vtech can make this happen if they want to.

I am not a huge gaming fan, but this is so much fun for my 4 year old and he really learns a lot and develops his math, reading, and memory skills. It is easy for him to figure out on his own and he loves using a touch screen like his sister's DSi, but also LOVES the keyboard.
I like the downloadable games but need to get the game storage cartridge since they erase when you shut it off. I wish I would have known that when telling Grandpa to get this for him for Christmas. It can hold 30 games! I can't wait to get it. I think this is a WINNER and am excited that my son LOVES using it all the time!
The hard case is also a great way to store all the games together as, well as keep the unit safe. I am very impressed by the durability of the unit itself. It's only been a few weeks since Christmas, but I don't have anything bad to say about this at this time. I would recommend this for your little ones!

My 3 year old loves his "mobi" and as a parent I think it is a really good product. My biggest issue with it, is that it uses batteries. We are going thru batteries once a week and it is costly! I noticed there is a car charger but what about something for the home?? At this rate I'll have to limit his usage of it. Batteries are costly and not in our budget..

This was a gift for my 3yr old and she loves it! Christmas morning she couldn't put it down.. I just wish there were more coloring activities for her to do, we down loaded the one from the website but she can't actually color. Other then that she loves it!

My daughter does love playing with mobigo. My one and only complaint is I'll spend more on batteries than I did on the Mobigo. Why no rechargeable batteries? This is the one reason I wont recommend this to anyone. With all of the technology today you think it would be rechargeable.

My daughter has a hard time concentrating. It's hard to find something that holds her attention more than a few moments. The mobigo has been a Godsend. She picked it up and went straight to playing. The spoken instructions in the games are self explanatory and easy for children to follow. I didn't have to help her learn how to use it. She never puts it down. And is learning as she plays!

I usually purchase Leepfrog but, decided this was the best electronic game device for my 26 month old son. I was a little concerned that he might be too young for it since the age range starts at 3 and the Mickey game cartridge (his favorite character) started at 4. I figured he would grow into it within 6 months or so. Boy was I wrong! He loves it and has no problems with the Mickey games. The Mobigo is a little heavy but I think that will only help with durability. It seems to be very durable - only time will tell. If I have one gripe it would be that it is hard to fit the device into the case (additional accessory) with a cartridge in. I'm sure it is intended for storage only - not for use during game play - but I like the additional protection. We will not be able to use the case when he starts playing the games that require the keyboard but, for now the Mickey games do not require a keyboard. Great job Vtech!

Our 3 year old takes his mobigo everywhere! No more fighting over his older brother's ipods. We love it's durability and ease of use. He had it figured out in a few minutes! I this product for my 4 year old son for Christmas, he also got a WII from his grandparents on Christmas Eve on Christmas morning when he opened it he started playing it and never asked to play the WII the rest of the day. He mostly uses it in the car now and most of the time he will not say two words in a 30 min. trip some where. It is a great product and educational. The touch screen on it works great. Make sure and purchase the car and wall adapter because it works wonders on batteries. I have not replaced batteries in it yet and he has had it almost a week now and plays it an hour to two hours a day.

This was a Christmas present for my 7 year old son. He loves it and so does his 2 older brothers. He likes to download games from v-tech. However the touch screen doesn't always work with his fingers, so I found that giving him a stylus from his older brothers DS works very well.

Bought the Mobigo from [@]for our twins after weighing it vs the Leap Frog product. Was dismayed Christmas morning when the product turned on but the touch screen didn't work. Tried all of the troubleshooting ideas on Vtech's web site - none worked. Had to wait 2 days to call Vtech due to the holiday, and was then told I need to send it back to them and I HAVE TO PAY ONE-WAY SHIPPING! Overall, a big disappointment and poor customer service policy from a brand like Vtech - expected much better. They've lost a customer (and Leap Frog has gained one) from here forward.

I bought this for my daughter for Chirstmas and she has not been away from it since she opened it. It is easy for her to use( she is 3) and great for teaching her new things. My son got this for his 4th birthday and loves it!! It is very educational and awesome for car rides. I love how you can plug it in to the computer and check his progress. It tells you what he plays most, how often and his scores. It also gives suggestions on what he should work at more. This is a very good investment in his future.

My son is 5yrs old and is Austic, very smart and is a whiz at computer games. He has not been able to play on the WII with his brother due to a weak grip. The touch screen is what attracted me to buy this for him. He literally has not put this down since i gave it to him 3 days ago. I love that the games are educational and not just "for fun". Just bought this for my 3 1/2 yr old son for christmas this year. Havent used it yet. I originally bought a Leapster then read reviews, and decided against it. I bought the Mobi go on a whim and am very happy with all the reviews. My son loves the touch screens on our phones so I am sure he will love it. I did find on the website that there is a cartridge you can buy for 19.99 that you can hook up to the computer that is used to hold 30 downloadable games. That should solve the problem for those wanting storage....just costs extra money!!! Will write a review after christmas!!

Got this for our 3-yr-old son. He loves the fact that it has a little keyboard, just like Daddy's phone. I liked the free downloads, however, after downloading a whole bunch of free games, I found that I only had enough memory for 3 of them - which means I have to remove games b4 adding on others :S And the fact that it runs on batteries is kind of a downer - I'd rather we had to recharge it than replace the batteries (added expense)...Other than that, we love it ^_^

I saw this product while shopping at a local store. After talking it over with husband and looking at reviews we decided to get one for our son. Our 3 yr old hasn't put it down since. It's great for errand days when I'm in the car driving around town, while you're waiting for the doctor, or long car trips. The only con is right now there aren't many games for the 3 yr old crowd. I hope new ones are released soon.

We received the MobiGo as a gift for our son's 3rd birthday. The gift could not have come at a more perfect age. We just had a baby and this toy is something he can do on his own & holds his attention. I really feel like he's continuing to learn his ABCs, numbers, problem solving skills, etc. We have the Toy Story & Dora game. Both are great games but we still find him playing the basic games the MobiGo came with. What I love about the MobiGo is how EASY it was for him to figure out. Others have mentioned the keyboard is hard to flip out but he has had no problem with that. Also, we found this toy to be great when I take both kids on stroller walks & at doctor's offices. Great toy!! I really feel like it's made well and will last for years to come. Good job Vtech!! Hope they continue to come out with more games geared toward the 3-5 range. Don't hesitate, buy this!!

My son would always want to play with his older sister's (she is 11) Gameboy. So we got him this for his 4th birthday and he LOVES it. It is very easy for him to use; even flipping up the screen is easy for him once I showed him how to do it. Great product! Recommend highly.

I just bought this MobiGo System for my 8 year old Autistic daughter. We love it, however it has a big drawback. Although the system itself is easy for her to use, the game cartridges available for purchase are a bit too young for her and not quite age appropriate. Luckily we found some perfect Mobigo online downloadable games that were wonderful for her age group. The drawback is.. once the games have been downloaded to the system they only stay on for one use and are erased once the system is turned off. Unfortunately those downloadable games are not available in cartridge form so that makes it impossible to travel with unless it is on the entire time. That makes me sad.

We got the Mobigo for my son's 4th birthday. He really loves it. The graphics are great, it is a tough little toy that captures his attention. I love that you can download games to the Mobigo, but wish they could be saved on the internal memory. We only have the games it came with so far, and he hasnt gotten bored with it. My husband and I bought the mobigo for our sons 3rd birthday...and he absolutely loves it! He can hardly put it down. He's got a total of 6 games and plays with all of them. I love how interactive it is. The shrek one is his favorite...the only downfall is, there is no holder for all of his games. I mean there is a hole in the top right side of the games.. does anyone know of anything that is out or will be coming out?

My 4 year old immediately loved this game. It has been a wonderful way for him to have a fun activity and learn something at the same time. We used it today while waiting at a restaurant to sit down. Some older boys walked by with DSs and my son was soooo proud he had a game of his own :-) He loves the games and it has been terrific so far. The only criticism I have is the downloads. Would like to be able to keep 2-3 games on the unit vs. having to transfer them all the time. But... will live with it because the unit is very well made and as always with VTech a great value!!

I bought this for my son, who just turned 2 in June, so that he'd play less with the games on my iPhone. He does great with most of the games, and he's really learned a lot, just from the free games that came with it. However, I was partly drawn to the Mobigo because it stated on the box that the downloads were Mac compatible. But, when I went to the download section, the Mac downloads are "coming soon". Why advertise it as compatible if it's not quite ready? Otherwise, I'm very happy with the purchase.

My son loved playing with the educational apps I have on my iphone! He is a two year old boy and there have been numerous close calls even with my impact case! So I decided to look around for something touch screen and educational for him to play with that would replace him using my iphone regularly. I found this and I am so glad his grandpa decided to buy it for him :) He LOVES it and is enjoying all the different games on it. Some items are too advanced yet (and probably why it is rated 3+) but I love that he will have new games to master as he gets older. My son recieved the Mobigo as a gift for his 4th birthday and we were both amazed. He ofteh has a hard time focusing on 'learning' games because they tend to bore him. The mobigo however was the total opposite. What I love the most about it is the positive reassurence that the child recieves after each game completed. This is very important to my son as he asks me over and over "Mommy did I do a great job?" Now he relies on the constant positive compliments from the game. We've only had it for 24hours and already I've been sneaking off to play with it alone. This product is amazing!!

I was originally going to purchase the leapster from leap frog and I'm so glad I didn't. My son will be 3 in December and there are not many toys (especially electronic) to choose from for his age. He loves the wii and the gameboy DS but he can't do anything on those systems by himself. The mobigo is perfect for traveling and inside the house. The game that it comes with is (so far) the best game for 3 year olds. There are 6 games total and he has mastered 4 out of the 6. He has difficulty using the keyboard but he isn't a pro at the alphabet. This game is perfect because the older he gets he can change the difficulty level and still have a challenge but have fun at the same time. I also like the fact that the system is priced perfectly and the additional games as well. The downloadable games are good too the only downside is once you turn off the game, those games you downloaded are erased and you have to redownload each time to play them again. I'm looking forward to more games to be released for 3 year old little boys!

I was trying to find a toy that would keep my daughter occupied during car rides and I wanted something similar to the iTouch but cheaper and built for a child. I came across the MobiGo and read all the reviews on it so I decided to get one. My daughter absolutely loves it! She thinks everything is touch screen so it was nice to find a toy that had the touch screen feature. However, I was disappointed that the downloaded games are only available as long as the power is on. Once you turn off the game unit, the downloaded games to your MobiGo are no longer available. There is no built in storage space, which I wish they would have implemented into the unit. In addition, the unit runs on 4AA batteries or you have an option of plugging an ac adapter to it and I wish there was a built-in rechargeable battery. All in all, I think the MobiGo is worth the price!

This toy is great! It's fun, interactive, and everything else. We bought this for our 2 yr. old and he loves it. He gets a little fustrated with opening the cover to the keyboard but when he gets older he'll get used to it. He never stops playing with it. But I bought the Toy Story 3 game to go with it and it says he's one a special prize and to hook it up with the usb cable to the computer. I did that and I dont know how to get the special prize the game is talking about. Can anyone help? Other than that it's the best!!!

We bought this for our son when he turned 4. he loves it so much and plays a lot. We went for a 4 hour car ride to visit family and i can honestly say we have not had this quiet of a trip since, well ever!! very educational and keeps the kids interest. my 2 1/2 year old daughter even plays with it, she is not so good but she likes the touch screen like mommy's ipod. i was floored over the GREAT graphics, you just don't see that in a childerns game system and games that were so cheap in price. Overall i think that this will be his favorite toy for many years to come.
