My son got the mobigo as a xmas gift. He loved all the games so for his birthday i desided to give him the game storage card. So far i have had to redownload them 2 times. Well i was planning on getting him another one for higher learning games but now i am thinking twice about it due to it not keeping the momery. Does anyone have any suggestions.

My 4yr old loves her Mobigo. The Mobigo has been such a great thing for the long car trips we've been taking lately. Before we downloaded a couple games onto the game but then she'd lose them if she entered a cartrige. With the downloadable cartrige she can take all of her favorites and it greatly shortens her trip!

My only complaint is that the mobi go when it was frist made should of had storage built into it instead of the company trying to make a buck by selling this product .

It's a wonderful product I have over 40 games saved on the storage and my daughter loves it.

I wish that V tech would make more of the Squirrel game my daughter LOVED the Squirrel game that came with the mobi go.

This was such a great idea for Mobigo since you could not save the loaded games bought online. My son drove me nuts asking ALL the time to change the games out on his. He would then get frustrated playing the same ones over and over. Now he will get his Mobigo and sit and play it for at least an hour at a time and you never hear a peep out of him. It keeps him occupied with different games and I know he is learning. We have gotten all of the free ones and so far it has held over 40 games on it! I do wish they had of had this when we first got it though.

I saw all the fun downloads Vtech had for the storage card and hoped she would lile them because they are highly educational. She did! The storage card is the only game card that has been in the mobigo since I bought it a month ago.

I was able to store about 40 games on each of the two cartridges that I bought. According to the storage level indicator in the Download Center, only about 1/5 of the storage was taken up! We've had no problems in the two weeks we've had them.

This is a great idea. I ordered this cartridge when it was on sale for [$]. We downloaded all of the games from Vtechkids.com website. They were running a special where they were free for a certain period of time. Now not only does my child have the games that we purchased, but she now has other ones to chose from. And they are all stored on one cartridge. Perfect idea. Also, I can download them onto computer and not load them all onto the cartridge at the same time which is great because I can get ones for an older age bracket that she is not ready for yet and wait to add them to her cartridge. I would NOT however, pay the [$] that is the MSRP on this storage cartridge and pay for each additional game. Just seems a little high. Good games and good item for the price that I paid. We love the MOBIGO. Looking forward to getting another one when my younger one is older.

With being able to have all the downloaded games he has a lot of different games to play. I am very pleased with this purchase and will probably get another one for my daughter's Mobigo.

Great first time game console for toddlers. My four year old loves it! However, it would be nice if the MobiGo would take more advantage of its capabilities. I've yet to find a game that uses the arrow pad or the large right side button. All either use the touch screen or slide-out keyboard. Why include extra buttons in the design if there are no games that utilize them? Why not make the LCD larger instead?

It would also be wonderful if the device would play movies and/or music & audio books. Even if the media were proprietary and only available through downloads at V-Tech's website, having an all-in-one console would be perfect for long car rides.

thought this was a great idea, since downloaded game are deleted when the system is shut off. We've had the Game Storage for a hot 2 months and the MobiGo won't even recognize that there's a cartrage in the slot.

Just received my game storage cartridge (two of them) and the system won't power on after I insert it. Tried both game storage cartridges and the thing won't power on. Take it out and the mobigo turns on like it should. Very frustrating. [...]. Giving 1 star as a result. A little frustrated becuase it should work out of the box.

The storage disk is wonderful; our son loves the fact that he can play the games over and over now and not have to have me download the games from our computer each time he turns his MobiGo off or switches games. The storage disk has tons of memory...kudos to MobiGo for making a storage disk.

Our four year old is autistic and sometimes does more when left alone. He loves his MobiGo!! He can play and learn all by himself. He just picked it up, turned it on and started learning! He can even change cartridges and is very carefull to keep them in the storage case (I recomend it)

This is a great cartridge and it holds A LOT of memory. I filled it with all of the age appropriate games in her age group, and it barely made a dent in the memory. Plus all those games arein one place now. :) I recommend getting this, and it's changeable so it will last the life of the Mobigo.

I am the mother of twin boys. I purchased the mobigo for both of my boys for christmas and just recently purchased the storage cartridge for both of them. If I knew then what I know now I would have purchased the storage cartridge before I would have purchased the other games. I love the fact that there are alot of games that you can download for free on line to the cartridge. My boys can play for hours on this game. It is the best thing I think Vtech has ever made!!!! I see that the game storage cartridge will hold a lot of games, but my questions is, where do you get all these games? I have downloaded the Learning Lodge application and have been using the games offered there, but there only seems to be like 10 in my child's age group. Are there more somewhere? Or do more games get added from time to time? It seems a waste to pay [$] for a storage cartridge when there are only 10 or so games available to put on it. Thanks for any help!

Downloading and storing games is very easy. Games can be stored on computer so if the memory is full you can swap out without losing games. As more and more games are developed this cartridge will be invaluable. Hopefully a software developers kit will be released so other companies can develop learning games. Very cost effective. A few games can be played somewhat by a 2 year old, would be nice to see that important age group included in the future.

Well, this worked great - for a day. Loaded all her games on it (it holds A LOT) and she loved being able to turn the unit on and off and still have her games.
Unfortunately, by the second day the cartridge stopped being read by the unit. It just flashes the logo and "loading" forever.
We can't "reboot" or reload, because as soon as you connect the Mobigo to the computer and plug the cartridge in, the computer decides the Mobigo is no longer connected.

We were so excited to get this cartridge...but my daughter was really disappointed when we plugged in the cartridge and it did not contain any preloaded games as promised. I had to get my US friend to purchase, and I had thought I received a dud. Logged into Mobigo via vTech website, did all the registration, etc., downloaded Learning Lodge, did a little tinkering and finally I was able to download games. Anybody know where the downloaded games are stored on the computer? Anybody who actually received the cartridge w/ preloaded games? Please list as I am not sure I have them or not. Thanks in advance.

This is the best thing VTech could have come up with for the MobiGo. It comes with 10 games preloaded, then I added about 11 more for my son's age group and the memory only hit about 15%! If children are encourage to turn off the unit when finished playing, they then have to go back and download the games to the storage card and this is not a good thing. If the games would stay on the cartridge it would be worth the $20.00. Also we could only get 3 games stored on our cartridge.

I got this when it was released, because my 3 year old loves to turn the system off, so loading the games onto the unit was worthless for us. I was so excited for this, and I wasn't dissapointed. ONE small problem we had was after awhile the cartridge would give a system error. I searched all over for a solution, but found nothing. Tonight I decided to check and see if I could re download the games onto the cartridge, and that fixed the problem. I don't know if the preloaded games came back, because my 3 year old won't let me near it when that cartridge is in! He LOVES the games, some of them are a bit out of his skill set, but he doesn't care, he plays them anyway! Great idea, now we need more games to download. The cartridge will hold TONS of games!!

I ordered this as soon as I received an email letting me know it was available as it got really time consuming downloading these games every time my 4 year old turned off the Mobigo. The games will not download onto the cartridge. When I called they say they had not updated the games to be captible to this yet. Why release it and promote it if they did not make sure it worked. I was excited and so was my 4 year old until it did not work. Very disappointing. If they get it to work, it should be great.

My 3 yr old son loves all the games that I downloaded onto it..It keeps him entertained for hours..the only con with the Mobigo Game Storage cartridge is that once you download your games from the pc it deletes the pre-loaded games that come with it. Other than that I would recommend it to a friend or buy it again. Enjoy

The preloaded games are moved to the end of the list with the newly downloaded games appearing first. If you will scroll past the newly downloaded games you should find the preloaded games still available.
